The campsite is located in an area called Chan de Pólvora on Ons Island, which is part of the municipality of Bueu. It has an approximate area of 8,700 m².
Each plot has a power outlet for your use, and it is advisable to use it responsibly and moderately, as this supply is limited and intended only for charging mobile phones, tablets, laptops, etc.
Yes, the campsite has Wi-Fi in the cafeteria area.
There is a laundry area available for your use, with washing machines (check at reception), as well as sinks for dishes and tubs for laundry. Just like with the power outlets, moderate use of water is advised.
Yes, it is one of the services of the campsite. There is no schedule, and there is no charge for its use. Since we are located in a National Park, responsible use of water is recommended, as improper use will lead to a lack of hot water.
This is strictly prohibited because it is in a national park.
The park regulations state that the use of camping gas is allowed, but it is only permitted to cook in designated areas or where the staff of the site indicates.
The facilities include a small playground, as well as entertainers who will propose games and activities for them to enjoy their stay (available in July and August). Please check at reception. It is advisable to use high sun protection and warm clothing for the evenings.
The park regulations clearly state the prohibition of bringing pets onto the island.
Yes, the superior rental tents have electric light inside. Additionally, there is a power outlet at the entrance of the plot; however, it is advisable to bring flashlights.
Yes, on weekends from July 1st to September 15th, a minimum of two nights must be booked to stay in this category.
Yes, in some of the tents it is possible to place the mattress, although it may be a bit tight in the tent.
The campsite has carts that are in constant movement; they can be found both at Casa Acuña and in the campsite. They are not fixed carts, as their movement is carried out by the campers themselves.
On Ons Island, you will have the campsite's cafeteria, and the main restaurants on the island are located at the harbor.
At the port of Bueu, you will find public parking areas along the harbor and in the surrounding area. On the other hand, if you have chosen to depart from the port of Portonovo, it is advisable to arrive in the village with enough time, as the port does not have free parking, so you will need to park in private lots or in the vicinity of the port.
It is advisable to arrive at the port with enough time for any unforeseen circumstances that may arise when looking for parking. Boarding begins 15 minutes before the departure time stated on the ticket.
The trip to Ons Island lasts about 40 minutes for direct routes. If the boat makes a stop at another port, the journey will take approximately one hour.
You can take up to 20 kg of luggage and the tent separately.
The weather in the summer season is usually pleasant, with high temperatures during the day that drop significantly at night, so it is advisable to bring some warm clothing.
Bicycles are NOT allowed on Ons Island.
Reservations are made exclusively online through this website.
Any changes requested by the client must be communicated in writing to cambiosons@vioviajes.com at least 15 days in advance (the period stipulated by the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park Regulations for the cancellation of the authorisation for the visit) and will be subject to availability. We understand changes to be: change of dates, reduction or extension of the stay, variation in the number of people staying, change of ownership, change of transfer times, change of departure and arrival ports, etc.
Cancellations requested by the client must be communicated in writing to modificacionesons@vioviajes.com at least 15 days in advance (the period stipulated by the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park Regulations for the cancellation of the visit authorization), for a full refund of the amount paid. If notice is given within a shorter period, the cancellation costs will be 100% of the amount paid, given that this is the deadline for the cancellation of visit authorizations established by the National Park. The written communication must include: Locator of the accommodation reservation, Locator of the maritime transport reservation, Date of entry and exit of the accommodation, Name, surname and ID of the reservation holder and IBAN number to make the refund.
In the case of cancellation due to force majeure (medical emergency, legal cause or other duly justified reason) the amount paid will be refunded provided that official proof is presented. In this situation, the change of dates is also offered if there is availability.
When cancellations are the responsibility of the organizer, the amount paid to the client will be fully refunded.
The camping reservation already includes the pre-reservation of overnight stays from the Xunta de Galicia.
