The Starlight Initiative is a global campaign to defend the quality of the night skies and the general right to stargaze, directly fighting against the great problem of light pollution in our skies.

The Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park has been awarded the ‘Starlight’ Seal, which means that it is now considered a tourist destination of interest for stargazing as it is protected from light pollution and has the appropriate facilities.

Sello starlight Isla de Ons

Ons Island is the ideal place to watch the magnificent celestial show that the night sky puts on daily. The island’s low level of light pollution makes it possible to carry out stargazing activities at different spots.

Naviera Nabia organises #Starlight activities with the chance to stay over at the island. These are learning and stargazing events that are the perfect way to round off a visit to one of Europe’s paradises.
